Cremation Services Coming Fall 2026!

With each cremation we do at Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd., we will light a candle and say a prayer for your loved one prior to beginning the process of cremation.

We only offer two options for cremation.

1) Returned Private Cremation


Many families find comfort in choosing a private, returned cremation as a way to keep their pet close, even after they’ve said goodbye. With this option, your loved one is cared for with dignity and compassion, and is cremated individually, ensuring that the ashes you receive are solely theirs.

Your pet’s ashes will be thoughtfully returned to you in an urn of your choice, or in a soft satin bag if you prefer something simple. We hope this provides a gentle way to hold onto their memory and keep them close to your heart.

These prices are as follows:

Under 1 pound: $60.00 + GST

1 - 14 pounds: $140.00 + GST

15 - 59 pounds: $170.00 + GST

60 - 89 pounds: $185.00 + GST

90 - 110 pounds: $200.00 +GST

111 + pounds: $230.00 + GST

2) Community Cremation

With a community cremation, your pet is cremated alongside others, and their ashes are not returned. For some families, this choice brings comfort in knowing their once playful and social companion is not alone, but surrounded by others.

Choosing this option is no less a reflection of your love or respect. Every pet entrusted to our care is treated with the same dignity, gentleness, and compassion throughout the entire process.

After the cremation, their ashes are respectfully laid to rest in our memorial garden on the property—a peaceful place where their memory can be honored.

Under 1 pounds: $10.00 +GST

1 - 49 pounds: $75.00 + GST

50 - 89 pounds: $95.00 + GST

90 - 110 pounds: $120.00 + GST

111+ pounds: $140.00 + GST

If you want your loved one back within 24 hours of contacting us, we offer an expedited cremation service.

$400.00 + GST

We offer to pick up your loved ones from you home at an additional cost. These costs are as follows:

Home Pick Up in Town: $20.00 + tax

Home Pick Up Outside of town but within 140km: $80.00 + tax

Home Pick Up outside the 140km, please contact us.

Every private cremation comes with following:

  • Your choice of urn or jewelry. If you do not wish to have a urn, your loved ones ashes will be placed in a satin bag.

  • Comes with ink paw and nose prints.

  • Certificate of Cremation and unique ID tag that follows your loved one from the moment they are in our care till the moment they are returned to you.

  • Sympathy card.

All of these memorial items, will be placed in a paper bag with tissue paper in it.

At Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd. we will aim for in town to have your loved one returned to you within 1-3 business days. If you are out of town, we aim to have them returned within a week.
