What To Do After Your Pet Passes

At Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd., we understand how deeply difficult it is to lose a beloved family member. During such an emotional time, making arrangements can feel overwhelming, and we are here to support you with care, respect, and understanding every step of the way.

To help make this process as gentle and simple as possible, we offer two options:

1) Through Your Veterinary Clinic
You may choose to make arrangements through your local veterinary clinic. We will respectfully pick up your loved one directly from the clinic. At that time, you can select an urn and any memorial items through your veterinary office, they will let us know what you want, and we will take care of all the details. Once everything is complete, your loved one will be returned to the clinic for you to bring home.

2) Directly With Us
You are also welcome to contact us directly. We can arrange to come to your home to pick up your loved one, or schedule a time that is convenient for you to bring them to us. Once you have selected an urn and any memorial pieces, we will handle the rest with the utmost care. When everything is ready, we will contact you to arrange a time for you to bring your loved one home.

We understand how important it is for families to be reunited as soon as possible. For those within town, we strive to have your loved one returned to you or your veterinary clinic within 1–3 business days. For out-of-town arrangements, this may take up to 5 business days.

Please know that we are here for you, and it is our privilege to care for your beloved companion with dignity and compassion.

Every private cremation comes with following:

  • Your choice of urn or jewelry. If you do not wish to have a urn, your loved ones ashes will be placed in a satin bag.

  • Comes with ink paw and nose prints.

  • Certificate of Cremation and unique ID tag that follows your loved one from the moment they are in our care till the moment they are returned to you.

All of these memorial items, will be placed in a paper bag with tissue paper in it.
