What To Do After Your Pet Passes
At Over the Valley Pet Cremation Ltd., we understand how deeply difficult it is to lose a beloved family member. During such an emotional time, making arrangements can feel overwhelming, and we are here to support you with care, respect, and understanding every step of the way.
To help make this process as gentle and simple as possible, we offer two options:
1) Directly With Us
Once your loved one has passed, or even during the pre-planning stage, you are welcome to contact us. We are here to guide and support you through the process with compassion, care, and understanding.
We can arrange to come to your home to bring your loved one into our care, or, if you prefer, schedule a convenient time for you to bring them to us or we can arrange a time at our location in North Battleford. We will work with you to make the arrangements as comfortable and accommodating as possible.
Once you have selected an urn and any memorial pieces, we will take care of the remaining details with the utmost dignity, respect, and attention to your wishes. Our goal is to make this process as gentle and stress-free as possible, allowing you the time and space you need.
When everything is complete, we will contact you to arrange a time for you to bring your loved one home and begin the next chapter of remembering and honouring their life.
2) Through Your Veterinary Clinic
You may choose to have your veterinary clinic contact us directly to arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care. We will coordinate with the clinic to pick up your loved one and will contact you directly once they are ready to return home, so we can arrange a time that is convenient for you.
We understand how difficult it can be to say goodbye to a beloved companion. Please know that from the moment they come into our care, they will be treated with the same compassion, respect, and tenderness that we would want for our own loved ones.
We understand how important it is for families to be reunited as soon as possible. For those within town, we strive to have your loved one returned to you within 1–3 business days. For out-of-town arrangements, this may take up to 5 business days.
Please know that we are here for you, and it is our privilege to care for your beloved companion with dignity and compassion.
Every private cremation comes with following:
Individual pet cremation
Clay paw prints
Ink paw and nose prints
Memorial bracelet with a poem
A heart-shaped memorial plaque featuring the Rainbow Bridge poem.
Certificate of Cremation
A personalized sympathy card for the family
All of these memorial items, will be placed in a paper bag with tissue paper in it.
You will have your own choice of urn or jewelry or both if you would like. If you do not wish to have an urn, your loved ones ashes will be placed in a satin bag.
